In the forest of her mind I longed to travel,
in the darkness, in the shade,
guided by her touch,
directed by her speech.
Could she hear me?
Could she feel me?...
as I whispered into the wind her name,
and listened for an answer to lead me there
back into the woods I longed to see?...
Patience. Let me enter. Patience.
No one could take me there but her.
In the gentle rays of the sun
that beamed down through the majestic canopy,
I saw her body smooth and glowing
in the coolness of her creation.
