SLAVERY, NO MORE CRACK FOR ME..

Dear Crack-Cocaine:
I’d just like to write you and let you just know how much, I
let you mess-up my life for the last 10 years. I don’t know how I could have
been so stupid, to keep you by my side for so long, I hate you, you’ve help me
live a horrible nightmare since I was 28 yrs. old.
Well I’m here still alive to tell you today, you can go back
to hell, and I no longer have the desire to be your pen pal anymore. Messing
with you I’ve missed so much of the best years of my children’s life. Without
you I know I would have been a very successful woman, with a career under my
belt.
I would have been a better mother, daughter, sister, friend
and a better companion to my man. I let you rob me of so much of my life until
I’m fighting now to gain it all back.
Crack-cocaine you can’t win anymore, because GOD Jesus and I
refuse to let you in anymore, by messing with you I’m having a late start with
my goals I had set for myself.
But now with the help of God I will make it and with the love
from my peers, my higher power, and my NA program I know that I am going
to work it. I know that I can meet my goals, be a good loving, caring, sharing,
understanding and sober person.
I’m putting my all in this because I know God has blessed me
with a second chance at life, and I’m going to use it well.
I’m going to work on my character defects and be more prompt,
and take care of my responsibilities, clean up my shame, make better choices.
I’m really just tired of being self-destructive and I will make amends with
everyone I hurt. And work my 12 steps. Read the Holy Bible and attend my
outpatient aftercare three times a week. I’m doing this because I know I need to
stop, I have the desire to stop and I have “Stopped”!
