The Ascended Master

I have always felt-- and still do-- that someone was guiding me from behind the
scenes. It’s like being in a fog, then having a huge, glowing hand point to your
destination. You don’t know where the path leads, but somehow, it always takes you
where you’re supposed to go.

I consider myself a student of life. I have studied various religions and
philosophies including Islam, Zen Buddhism, Hatha Yoga, Falun Gong, and Sacred
Geometry. Because I have an open mind, I thirst for information. Yet, I do not feel
that I have progressed according to my full potential.

“What about your heart?”

The voice in my head whispered softly, as I browsed through the metaphysical section
of Borders bookstore. This voice, although it had been with me my whole life, was
just becoming familiar because I spent so many years ignoring it. Many people, I
believe, make the same mistake in thinking that the voice they hear is just them
talking to themselves. In fact, it is often intuition, a gift from heaven.

As I continued to browse, a small book entitled, The Human Aura, jumped out at me.
The subject matter caught my attention and so did the design of the front cover, a
silhouette of a human body with seven colorful wheels spinning from the energy
centers of the body, known to us as chakras.

“Interesting,” I thought. Something worth reading to quench my perpetual thirst for
knowledge. But I would soon realize that this book was something far greater. As I
sat and scanned the table of contents, reading through the first few pages, I
realized that this book was not information for the merely inquisitive. I knew that
this book was something that I needed at this particular time in my life.

WHEN THE STUDENT IS READY, THE MASTER APPEARS

I didn’t choose this book. This book chose me. Filled with esoteric secrets of
antiquity, this book would open my mind, heart, and soul to the energies that
surround our physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies. These energies, the
human aura, are the link to embracing the power and love of the Holy Spirit.

It is this book that helped me awaken to the presence of these divine energies. It
is my intent to master the control of these energies, and eventually rise above this
mundane world by raising my frequency level and increasing the vibration of each
atom in my body. Infused with divine Light, it is inevitable that the ascension
process will occur.

I AM of the Light. I AM an Ascended Master (in training)…

Let us define Ascended Master. I sat down at my computer and typed “define: ascended
master” into Google.com . This is what came up:

These definitions should serve as a guide, but are by no means the complete Truth.
One thing that I now understand is that in order to achieve unity with the Mind of
God, I must get out of my own way. I must climb out of my head and step into my
heart.

I contemplated on the time spent in the past satisfying my desire for logic and
reasoning, but not so much on practice. I realize now, there can be no perfection in
theory. Perfection exists within the application of knowledge, not the collection of
facts and figures. The application of divine knowledge is manifested as wisdom.

As I sat there, I felt compelled to write a poem:

It is my philosophy
That divine alchemy
Allows us to transform
The path is clear
By releasing fear
We step outside the norm
And rise above
Where Light and love
Keeps us aligned with spiritual
And all around
There is a sound
That manifests true miracles
OM…
OM…
OM…
Do you hear it?
It is the Holy Spirit
The Feminine aspect of God
The fire, the essence
The invisible presence
That guides us against the odds
Of this mundane
Hostile and insane
Existence similar to hell
But as we enter
The heart center
We rise from where we fell…
It’s harvest time!


I took a deep breath and read what just poured out of me. If this is true, and I
know it is, then by having faith and following a set of specific instructions, we
are assured to ascend, just as Jesus did.

There is a subtle shift that is currently affecting everyone on this planet, but few
people seem to notice. The shift, triggered by a down pouring of Light, is steadily
rearranging the atomic structure of this material world.

WHAT IS THE ROLE OF THE ASCENDED MASTER?

The role of the Ascended Master is to spiritualize the material. In other words, we
are to raise the frequency of Planet Earth to that of L.O.V.E.

Limitless Oscillating Vibrational Energy

L.O.V.E. is all there is. As we enter the Aquarian age, we must rid ourselves of the
authoritarian, patriarchal views of the Piscean age. As we receive more Light, we
empower and guide others to do so as well. It is extremely simple, but very
difficult if we continue with the Piscean attitudes of competition and separateness.
We must substitute negative ego thinking with spiritual thinking.

I AM an alchemist. I receive “manna from above.” I gain my true nourishment from
Light. Light from my inner Self. Light from the Creator Father in Heaven. I follow
my inner guidance, through the Light that exists within the hidden inner chamber of
my heart; the threefold flame of God’s love, wisdom and power.

When God revealed himself to Moses as the “burning bush” (that divine fire), he
simply said,

I AM THAT I AM
(EHYEH ASHER EHYEH)

What does this mean? “I AM” is the act of awakening to the Self. Not the individual
self, but the true Self, the Cosmic Self (also known as “The Higher Self”). When you
say, “I AM,” followed by any statement, you are speaking that statement into
existance because you are aligning your intent with all that is. This is the essence
of creation. This is the power of the spoken word, rising from the solar plexus
chakra through the heart chakra, and released by the throat chakra.

“In the beginning there was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was
God…” – John 1:1


It is my belief that when God said “I AM THAT I AM,” he was saying “I AM AWARE THAT
I AM;” or “I THINK, THEREFORE I AM.” In other words, he is giving us a hint as to
our true being (as his children, made in his image and similitude); co-creators and
potential masters of all existence. Who am I? I AM THAT I AM.

AS ABOVE, SO BELOW

By stating I AM THAT I AM, we are acknowledging the oneness of everything. You see,
on the physical plane there is an illusion of separateness. We often feel that as
“individuals” we stand apart from everything else in existence. Physics, however,
has proven what the mystics and divine messengers have been saying since the dawn of
time: Everything in existence is connected…the Universal Field theory.

It goes deep, and I still have so much more to learn. However, when the student is
ready, the master appears... At this moment, I feel the presence of MasterDjwhal
Khul. Can he be the one guiding me from behind the scenes? – The glowing hand?

I have no doubt that I AM of the Light. My intention is to gain mastery in this
lifetime, and naturally ascend in the process…and then the real work begins.
